Spending time in nature is fun, beneficial, and easily accessible from our Pooler apartments. Whether you want to take a long walk, have a picnic, or play a round of disc golf, Tom Triplett Community Park is a fantastic Pooler destination to enjoy the outdoors while social distancing. This vibrant community space has everything from a dog run to a freshwater lake with plenty of fish and turtles. Best of all, it’s only 12 minutes from Two Addison Place.
Enjoy Walking and Biking Trails
The park has two trails, including a scenic walking trail loop that’s 1.5 miles long and partially paved with asphalt. The loop is ideal for enjoying a comfortable run or walk with beautiful lake views and plenty of birdwatching. If you bring along some birdseed or veggies, stop for a moment to feed the ducks and box turtles. You can also explore the bordering wooded marsh full of deciduous and pine trees.
The bike trail is an unpaved, off-road six-mile loop that’s perfect for mountain bikes. Enjoy an active course with some hills and quick turns. Parts of the bike trail runs alongside the railroad tracks for a unique view as you pedal.
Great Facilities For Many Outdoor Activities
The park has many free amenities that make this spot one of the best places in Pooler to unwind, exercise and breathe fresh air. If you bring your own discs, you can enjoy the spacious 18-hole disc golf course. There are also two tennis courts, a playground, and a fishing pier on the lake. You can also enjoy picnics by taking advantage of the tables placed in shady areas, including some that are next to grills.
From great opportunities for spending time outdoors to delicious take-out options, Pooler has so many amenities that make life here enjoyable. Contact us to learn more about living in our community at Two Addison Place.Back to all posts
