Use These Savannah Selfie Spots for Your Next Instagram Story

selfie spots in Pooler

Social distancing has probably cut down the number of selfies you’ve taken over the past few months. It’s time to change that! Gather your face mask and smartphone, and head out from your apartments in Pooler. Be a tourist in your own town and snap some socially distant selfies at these top Savannah selfie spots. You’ll have Instagram-worthy photos in no time.

Forsyth Park Fountain

Hailed by many as Savannah’s best selfie spot, Forsyth Park Fountain is the backdrop for an abundance of vacation photos. With plenty of open space in its 19-acre park, Forsyth Park Fountain has room to maintain an appropriate social distancing buffer between other people. If you’re visiting several Savannah selfie spots, make this your first one of the day. The number of people will be fewer, and the morning light will be better than the bright afternoon sun.

River Street

If you want a selfie with the Talmadge Memorial Bridge in the background, the best place for that is on River Street at Rousakis Riverfront Plaza. The wide walkway along the south bank of the Savannah River makes social distancing relatively easy.

Wormsloe State Historic Site

Oak trees over a long dirt road make a quintessentially southern photo location. Arrive at Wormsloe State Historic Site early to avoid cars and other people photobombing your selfie. Staff may limit entry due to social distancing requirements, so that’s another reason to arrive early. Hang around after you snap your selfie to learn about Georgia’s history.

Two Addison Place is your perfect jumping-off point for taking socially distant Savannah selfies. After a day exploring, you can settle in with some great takeout from Pooler restaurants.
